Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-)

After landing at Noi Bai International Airport, our Asia Links Travel driver will welcome you with our warmest heart and greatest regards in the capital city of Hanoi - the city with more than 1000 years of history.

Having arrived at the hotel, you will check-in room which is available from 14:00.

You can take a look around at the hotel’s facilities to relax for the rest of the day and prepare for the schedule tomorrow.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B)

The second short trip day will be fully about Hanoi’s architecture, culture, and history visiting famous monuments, and integrating with the local people.

Our first stop of the day will be the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - a unique and concrete structure in the middle of Ba Dinh Square where the Ho Chi Minh President claimed Vietnam’s independence.

There are millions of people including domestic and international visitors come over annually to commemorate the Vietnamese people’s beloved president as well as his great legacy and efforts in chasing away the invaders.

Apart from the mausoleum building, visitors are allowed to enter Ho Chi Minh President’s stilts house and the fascinating One Pillar Pagoda.

Take a short drive from Ho Chi Minh Complex, we reach the Temple of Literature. The temple is not entirely a religious site but rather a milestone of history since it was the first university established in Vietnam. Almost every student from across the country comes here to pray for good luck in their upcoming important entrance exams.

For the plan in the afternoon, we can choose between two museums, one is the Ethnology Museum where a vast area is put on display of indoor and outdoor artifacts, traditional ethnic houses, and tremendous activities derived from the customs of the ethnic minorities, another one is the Women Museum, in which you will gain some knowledge about the significant roles of Vietnamese women from the past to modern life.

The day could not be considered complete without strolling around Hanoi’s Old Quarter where you can actually join in the lively city, meet the friendly people, feast with the signature taste of Hanoi’s street food lying on the narrow sidewalks or hidden in deep alleys.

Relax in the evening at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Rise and shine for another lovely day with a wind of change because we are going on a paradisal land that has already been recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO - Halong Bay. The drive takes about 2.5 hours starting from Hanoi.

Upon your arrival at the pier, you will embark on a high-class Junk Boat and cruise on the turquoise ocean sneaking through the karst of limestones rising above the water’s surface.

Lunch will be served on board with a special menu and all of the ingredients are freshly caught from the sea.

Then it is time for you to slack off on deck, and embrace the view of the ocean and the sky slowly turning red from the sunset while sipping on a glass of cocktail.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Fly to Saigon (B, Br)

Grab the chance to embrace the quietness on the bay in the Gulf of Tonkin surrounded by the first ray of sunlight. After breakfast on board, the boat will take you across tremendous islands and islets to challenge your photography skill capturing the most stunning images of the land given by Mother Nature.

Thereafter, we will head back to the pier where we started our cruise and disembark the boat.

We head back straight to the airport in Hanoi to catch a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City to continue your trip with Asia Links Travel.

When you arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, our driver will be there to welcome you and escort you to the hotel.

Day 5: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - City Tour (B)

Fill yourself up with a delicious breakfast, we will then move onward to a highlight of the trip at Cu Chi Tunnels which house one of the most intense histories as well as amazing construction during the Vietnam War.

Cu Chi Tunnels is an immense network of underground rooms connected to one another which were used for multiple purposes including storage, clinic, hide-out, and meeting for Vietnamese soldiers. This extraordinary construction stretches for nearly 250 km which makes it even more awe-inspiring as well as unique.

Lunch will follow your choice and be at your own expense.

Afterward, you will make a fresh start on the city tour with the metropolis’s highlights which include the Reunification Palace, the Opera House, Thien Hau Pagoda, and a cannot-miss-out-on place Chinatown.

Thereupon, we head to a well-known market in the city’s center where gather a wide range of merchandise from food, clothes, and handicrafts to linens and all sorts of jewelry and souvenirs. There is an extra spot for history and war stories lovers which is the War Remnants Museum we may be able to add to the timetable.

Spend the night at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
