ITINERARY
Asia Links Travel team will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter. Our friendly guide and driver will meet you at the lobby or a designated meeting point for a quick safety briefing before we embark on our exciting journey.
First up, we'll head to the Hanoi Opera House, Vietnam's largest theatre. This historical and architectural landmark has witnessed countless important events. To continue the cultural holiday in Hanoi, we'll take you beyond the tourist facade to experience the REAL Hanoi.
Get ready to explore the city's hidden backstreets, tiny alleyways, and local neighborhoods. See homes, schools, and bustling markets (including a black market!), and witness firsthand how Hanoians live, work, and play.
Unlike other tours that focus solely on the picturesque, we believe in showing you the authentic Hanoi, with all its quirks and complexities. Our goal is to expose you to a hidden world, a world that most tourists never get to see.
The second part of the tour takes you to the iconic landmarks of Hanoi in this Vietnam tour package. We'll drive past the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a sacred site built to house the body of the revolutionary leader. You'll then get a glimpse of the beautiful Thanh Nien Street, nestled between two of Hanoi's stunning lakes.
Next, we'll venture off the beaten path to a place called "Banana Island," a hidden gem just 3.4 km from the city center. Explore local farms, see traditional houses, chat with residents about their way of life, and indulge in fresh, organic tropical fruits grown right there.
The tour continues to the peaceful villages surrounding West Lake and Truc Bach Lake. Experience the harmony of life between the bustling city center and the serene outskirts. We'll also visit Van Nien Pagoda, one of Hanoi's oldest Buddhist pagodas, dating back a thousand years.
As we travel, keep your eyes peeled for Hoang Hoa Tham, a charming street known for its beautiful bonsai trees and colorful flowers. We'll then navigate the labyrinthine backstreets of Hanoi, leading to a hidden spot - a reminder of the city's wartime past with a B52 American aircraft shot down during the war.
Finally, we'll drive through the new parts of Hanoi, a stark contrast with its historical core, showcasing the city's rapid development. This is a journey through Hanoi's past, present, and future.
The grand finale of your Half Day Inside Hanoi Jeep Tour is a delightful exploration of the city's vibrant cuisine. We'll take you to a selection of authentic restaurants, eateries, and street stalls where you can savor the most delicious Hanoi food tour. Be prepared to be surprised by family heirloom recipes, local delicacies, and hidden culinary gems!
This tour is more than just a ride; it's an immersive experience that allows you to truly understand and appreciate the soul of Hanoi.
