The fist destination we take you to see is the Hanoi Opera House – the biggest theater in Vietnam. It is also considered a famous historical and architectural landmark in Hanoi where a range of important events have taken place. After that, let’s see the real Hanoi with authentic life experiences with the unknown-parts of the city: maze of backstreets, tiny alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets... This is the unique point of the trip as we show you the messy yet lively Hanoi, not just the beautiful and sparkling touristy spots.
On the second part of the Hanoi Jeep tour, we take stops at the must-see places of this beautiful city. One attraction that no history lover should miss is Ho Chi Minh mausoleum - the Mecca of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, sacred place built to keep Ho Chi Minh’s body remained after he passed away. After that, We take you through the Thanh Nien street which lies between 2 beautiful lakes of Hanoi, considerably one of the most beautiful streets of the city.
Then we move to banana island which we call the hidden charm of Hanoi - just about 3,4 km far from the center but stand out with the opposite beauty to modern city. Here you have a chance to visit the farms, local houses, talk with local people to know about their lifestyle, enjoy the organic tropical fruits they grow and try traditional green tea.
After that, you will visit the peaceful & alluring out-skirt villages around West lake and Truc Bach lake to enrich your experiences about the contrast in harmony of life between the city center and the out-skirt. Then we will visit and learn about Van Nien pagoda, a 1000-year-old Buddhist pagoda and one of the most ancient pagodas in Hanoi.
On the third part of this Hanoi Jeep tour, you will pass Hoang Hoa Tham while we are traveling. It is the most beautiful bonsai street in Hanoi that will impress you with the fresh green trees and colorful flowers. Our Jeep will take you through the back street, see the small alleys of Hanoi before admiring the B52 American aircraft which was shot down by Vietnamese people.
For lunch time, you will stop at different AUTHENTIC restaurants, eateries and food stalls to savor the tastiest dishes of Hanoi including family heirloom & secret recipe dishes, local delicacies and specialties.
Afternoon time:
We soon leave the busy streets of Hanoi, then travel through the city’s Old Quarter area, enter the urban outskirts and reach the countryside. We’ll cross the bridge to the other side of the Red River where you could immerse yourselves into the tranquil countryside. Explore the charming villages lying along the Red River Delta and learn about how these local residents live their daily life. After the visit to those villages, our Hanoi Countryside Jeep Tour will also take you to the vast green rice paddies, where you watch the people working meticulously and talk to them.
