Itinerary
By the time you arrive, our driver is ready to catch and take you to your hotel in Vientiane – Lao attractive capital, which owns attractive monuments and the tranquil atmosphere on the riverside.
Get ready for an interesting day exploring the highlights of Vientiane.
Vat Phra Keo is considered to be one the most remarkable temples in Vientiane which is the former house of the famous Emerald Buddha constructed in 1565.
Vat Sisaket is well - known for a corridor storing thousands of Buddha statues, stunning architecture and a long history dated back to the 1818.
Pha That Luang (constructed 1566, rebuilt 1930). With the architect that typical of Lao culture, this monument is Lao most significant religious, national monument and also stands for the nation of Laos.
Patuxai, also known as the memorial monument, is Vientiane's most famous highlight. Constructed in 1957 modelled after the architecture of the Triomphe in Paris, Patuxai is nicely decorated with Lao features. Standing on the top of the landmark, you catch a spectacular view of the city.
Talat Sao Market is where to do shop some loverly souvenirs of Laos.
In the afternoon, a short flight will take you to Xieng Khuang. When you arrive at the airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for cheking in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Xieng Khuang.
Finish with your breakfast, then, move a short distance to the amazing Plain of Jars. Up to the moment, the place is predicted to be about 2000 years old. The purpose of the jars is still a mystery to the archaeologists. They haven't has enough proofs to clear up the jars' origin whether as funerary urns or rice wine storage.
After that, spend time sightseeing the beautiful rural villages and meet the people there. Then, we pay a visit to the monastery in Ban Xiengdi and the special zones which were once the major battlefields when the American war broke out.
Keep on your journey to Muang Khoun, the old provincial capital that incredibly survives through the American bombings.
Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Xieng Khuang.
After breakfast, you will be on a vehicle for about 6 hours to Luang Prabang, stop at Sala Phoukhou en route for lunch. Then, keep moving on the road 13 to the destination.
Upon your arrival, warm up your body and climb to Phousi mountain to catch the stunning vista of Luang Prabang.
At night, stroll around the bustling Luang Prabang night market, enjoy the local cuisine and choose for yourself a lovely gift.
Today morning, we pay a visit to Luang Prabang's oldest architecture of Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong.
Being famous for the title: “Temple of 100 000 treasures”, Wat Sene Souk Haram is on the top list of captivating temples in Luang Prabang. With its stunning architect, the typical ochre color of old time and also glitter with gold, the temple is surely an extreme tourist attraction.
About the Wat Xieng Thong, which situated at the intersection of Mekong and Nam Khan river, is always gorgeous which was adorned with gold - covered stuccoes, doorways and magnificent mosaic decorations on the outer walls.
Then, you shall cruise upstream the Mekong river on the traditional boat to disembark at Pak Ou - a home of thousands Buddha statues.
Next, arrive at the Ban Xang Hai - the village makes traditional rice alcohol. Then, stroll around the Ban Pak Ou village – a fisherman village and keep moving to Ban Muang Keo village- where they weave the colored fabric with simple looms.
After that, cruise back to Luang Prabang.
After breakfast, leave your hotel for the National Museum (once a king’s castle). Inside, there are collections of royal members artifacts like photos, musical instruments and gifts from foreign nobles.
Then, drive about an hour to Kuang Si waterfall. The cascading waterfall provides chill fresh water to immerse in. Also, you can get to the top to catch a charming vista of jungles and streams.
In the late afternoon, you shall travel back to Luang Prabang and get to Ban Xang Khong- the village that makes handweaving silk and Saa Paper.
Relax till the time you depart for your flight. End of services!

Trip Notes
Time travel: Possible to travel all year around however May to Oct will be rainy season. The wet season witnesses the country at its most lush and vibrant.
Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.
Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:
- Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied)
- Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 12 years: 100% of the regular fare will be applied
During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:
- Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you will stay overnight.
- Laos New Year: 12 April – 18 April: Extra fee will be applied during holiday.
Visa requirements:
For Laos: You must have a valid passport and a visa (or visa on arrival) to enter Laos. Our consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.
Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay, and you must have at least one blank page for each visa stamp.
