Itinerary

Day 1: Sleeper Bus From Hanoi to Ha Giang (-)

From 07:30 - 08:00 PM, the Sleeper Bus will pick you up in Hanoi.

After about 7 hours of travel, you will arrive in Ha Giang City at 3:00 - 3:30 AM.

As soon as you arrive, our staff will pick you up and provide accommodation for you to rest until 8:00 AM.

Day 2: Ha Giang City - Bac Sum Slope - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Nam Dam Village - Lung Tam Handicraft Village - Yen Minh (L, D)

8.30 AM: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the homestay and guide you to a safe seat to start the tour.

On the way to Quan Ba Town, you will be surprised by the change in the surrounding scenery. We will stop at Bac Sum Slope to admire the scenery and drink water.

Continuing the journey, you will go to the observation point to see Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Twin Mountains before visiting Nam Dam terracotta house village with 100% Dao ethnic people.

We will have 2.5 hours here for you to learn about the local culture, and the special architecture of the house built with clay and walk around the village. You will also enjoy local dishes of Quan Ba.

After lunch, you can explore the beauty of the valleys and villages by bicycle. You will be overwhelmed by the astonishing beauty of the majestic mountains that can only be enjoyed when joining our Authentic Ha Giang.

In the next destination of the 4-day Ha Giang Loop Tour, Asia Links Travel will take you to Lung Tam Village to visit a family where they make crafts and weave clothes, then continue by motorbike to Yen Minh where you will stay overnight.

On the way to Yen Minh, visitors will see the most majestic scenery and some secret villages on a special road that they would not know if they went on their own.

We will stop on the detour so you can see the beauty of Ha Giang Valley before reaching Yen Minh Town and resting at the homestay.

Day 3: Yen Minh - Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace - Lung Cu Flagpole - Dong Van Town (B, L, D)

After breakfast, the first place we will visit today is Tham Ma Slope. After 1 hour of driving, we will reach Tham Ma Slope with a 9-step road to see beautiful scenery and take great photos.

Then we will go to Sung La village with the landowner for more than a hundred years by motorbike. You will learn about the history and stories of this mysterious land.

Lung Cu Flagpole - The symbol of Ha Giang will be our next destination. From the high position of the flagpole, we will see the surrounding splendid scenery and the border area between the territories of Vietnam and China.

Then, we will visit Lo Lo Chai Village where the Lo Lo ethnic group lives, explore clay houses, and enjoy local specialties at the restaurant for lunch.

Saying goodbye to Lo Lo Chai, we continue our journey to the residence of the Vuong family, which is still called the "Hmong King's Palace".

At the end of day 2 of the Ha Giang Loop Tour, we return to the motel and have dinner in Dong Van Town.

Day 4: Dong Van Town - Volunteer Youth Monument - Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River - Meo Vac - Du Gia Village (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town. Today, Asia Links Travel will explore with you the most beautiful place of the journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac Towns - Ma Pi Leng Pass. Ma Pi Leng Pass is known as the "king" of passes in Vietnam because of its 2000-meter altitude with dangerous cliffs and breathtaking scenery.

For visitors to fully experience the beauty of the past, we will follow the spectacular Sky Path to admire the scenery of the entire valley and Nho Que River. Standing on the top of the pass, you will feel overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers. After that, you will have time to cycle to see the panoramic view of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable photos.

Continuing our journey, we will go to distant villages to understand more about the lives of people in remote areas of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we will stop for lunch and drinks.

From Meo Vac Town, passing through mountain trails, we will come to the famous Du Gia Village where 7 ethnic minorities live in the same village. You will see a colorful village and lots of culture.

We will stay at a homestay with a Tay Minority family and enjoy dinner with them.

Day 5: Du Gia - Duong Thuong Valley – Thai An Road - Bac Me - Ha Giang City – Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast, we will explore the hidden beauty of Du Gia Waterfall. After saying goodbye to the host, we will make our way back to Ha Giang. Even though it was the last day, the journey was still exciting.

The natural scenery here will still bring you wonderful feelings when passing through Duong Thuong Valley and Thai An Road. After crossing Sky Gate we will be back to Yen Minh. We will be back to Ha Giang this afternoon after an adventurous ride.

Leave from Ha Giang at 4 P.M. by Limousine bus.

Arrive in Hanoi in the evening. Tour ends!

Time travel: Possible to travel all year around. March to June is best time when the weather is warmer and days are mainly sunny. July to Oct will be rainy season.

Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.

Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:

  • Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied) 
  • Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
  • Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied
  • Children from 12 years: 100% of the regular fare will be applied

During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:

  • Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you will stay overnight.
  • Vietnam Lunar New Year: 24 January – 27 January: Extra fee will be applied during holiday.

Visa requirements:

For Vietnam: You must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval letter for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam. Our consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.
