Ban XangKhong village is the next stop in this Laos package, where locals produce Saa paper, an autochthonous product of Laos (obtained after crushing the bark of the Saa tree) and used especially to create the books needed to collect the sacred Buddhist writings still written in the ancient Indian language of Pali.

This village is also specialized in silk products, with both traditional motifs and new contemporary creations.
