Today we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Kyaikhtiyo (190 km, about 5 hours), the mountaintop home of the awe-inspiring Golden Rock.
This massive boulder, precariously balanced on a cliff's edge, is entirely covered in gold leaf and holds immense religious significance for the people of Myanmar.
Along the way, we'll pause at the Allied War Memorial Park near Htauk Kyan, a poignant reminder of the area's history which rests over 27,000 Allied soldiers.
Upon reaching Kin Pun, a charming town nestled at the mountain's base, we'll switch gears! Opt for a thrilling ride on a public local truck, winding its way up the mountainside.
Alternatively, feel free to get off at the halfway point (45-minute drive – truck stop “Yeataetaung”) and hike to the summit (4 km, about 1 hour).
In case you continue the local truck, a short 15-minute walk from the last stop (Kyaukhtiyoe Taung Paw Sakan Gate) will lead you to the Golden Rock.
Note:
The trucks used for transport from Kinpun camp to the summit have a limited capacity and can get crowded. It's also common for locals to share the ride. Be prepared for a potential wait as these trucks typically depart once full.
Please ensure you reach Kin Pun by 5:30 PM to guarantee a spot on the truck to the summit.
At the summit, you’ll be awe-struck by the gleaming Golden Rock and the views that surround it. Witness the sun bath this magnificent structure in a golden glow, creating a truly magical scene.

Breakfast at the hotel and we’ll head back to beloved Yangon. Our open-air truck takes you to the base camp and then drives to Yangon. En route, we'll take a detour to Bago, a historic town, to explore Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myanmar's tallest pagoda.

Afterward, we journey onwards to the historic city of Kanchanaburi. Prepare to be moved by a visit to the WWII Memorial, including the Jeath War Museum and the Cemetery.
From the Railway Station in Tonburi (or Namtok) to visit Kwai Bridge, experience a unique perspective on a 30-minute train ride along the scenic river.
This historic railway, a remaining section of the "Death Railway", offers breathtaking views you won't forget.

This morning, we depart for Ayutthaya, the former glorious capital of Thailand in about 1 hour. Prepare to be transported back centuries as we explore the ruins of magnificent temples and palaces.
Our first stop is Wat Phu Khao Thong, also known as the "Monastery of the Golden Mount," perched majestically just outside Ayutthaya. Then you will delve deeper into the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet.
No visit to Ayutthaya is complete without encountering Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, home to one of Thailand's largest and most revered bronze Buddha statues. Lunch is at your leisure.
To round off the day, we'll visit Wat Lokaya Sutha, a serene temple housing a colossal reclining Buddha image radiating peace and tranquility.

Next on the Hanoi tour is the Complex of President Ho Chi Minh (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Stilt House). Delve into the life of Vietnam's beloved leader, Uncle Ho. Pay your respects at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays) and explore his iconic stilt house.
One Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of Hanoi, is the last stop of this interesting visit.

In case the visiting day is on Monday or Friday when the Mausoleum Management Board carries out maintenance of the mausoleum, you will visit only the outside of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his stilt house, and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda.

11:30 - 12:00 PM: Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, your gateway to adventure awaits. The captain and friendly crew will extend a warm welcome, eager to share their passion for Halong Bay.

Time travel: Possible to travel all year around. March to June and September to October are best time in Sapa when the weather is warmer and days are mainly sunny.
Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.
Airfares (if any) may change without notice prior to e-ticket issuance.
Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:
- Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied)
- Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied

During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:
