Itinerary
You will be transported to Ha Giang City today by sleeper bus from the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Pick-up time is between 07.30 and 08.00 PM, and you will arrive in Ha Giang city between 3.00 and 3.30 AM. After that, you will be picked up and given a place to stay until 8.00 AM for your homestay.
8.30 AM: Your adventure with Asia Links Travel kicks off right at your Ha Giang homestay! Your friendly tour guide and drivers will give you a safety briefing before you hop on the back of the easy riders.
Get ready for a dramatic change in scenery as day one unfolds. We'll weave through mountain roads, stopping at Bac Sum Slope for breathtaking views and refreshments before reaching Quan Ba town. Immerse yourself in the wonders of Dong Van Karst Geopark, a Vietnamese geoheritage treasure. Imagine terraced rice fields stretching as far as the eye can see, dramatic limestone pillars reaching for the sky, and hidden villages nestled within the valleys. Witness the rhythm of rural life as locals tend to their land, offering a glimpse into the heart of North Vietnamese countryside.
Our expert riders will then take you to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Twin Mountains - iconic viewpoints that will leave you speechless. We'll refuel with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town. The afternoon winds down with a scenic drive to Dong Van Town, including a stop at Tham Ma Slope and the residence of the Vuong family, also known as the "Hmong King Palace." Finally, you'll arrive at your cozy homestay in Dong Van Town for a delightful dinner.
Fueled by breakfast, we'll depart Dong Van Town and hop on our easy riders for the crown jewel of the trip: Ma Pi Leng Pass. Nicknamed the "Happiness Road," it winds its way between Dong Van and Meo Vac, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and jaw-dropping vistas. Often hailed as the "king" of Vietnamese passes, Ma Pi Leng's rugged terrain will leave you speechless. The entire route snakes through the cliffs, culminating in a triumphant ascent to the 2,000-meter peak.
To truly soak in the landscapes, we'll take a thrilling descent down the Sky Path. This breathtaking route unveils the entire valley and the Nho Que River below, offering a photographer's paradise. From the peak, prepare to be humbled by the majestic tapestry of mountains and rivers stretching out before you.
Our Vietnam adventure travel continues as we venture deeper into remote villages, experiencing firsthand how life unfolds in these secluded corners of Vietnam. We'll cruise through Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we'll refuel with a delicious lunch and drinks.
Leaving Meo Vac behind, we'll traverse the mountainous trails of Ha Giang province on our way to Du Gia Village. This captivating landscape boasts a unique cultural tapestry, with seven ethnic minorities residing harmoniously together. Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and rich traditions of this remarkable village.
Here, we'll spend the night at a Tay minority family homestay, savoring a delightful dinner and enjoying a warm evening with our local hosts.
Enjoy breakfast, and then it's off to conquer the hidden gem, Du Gia Waterfall! After bidding farewell to your homestay host, prepare to be wowed by more breathtaking landscapes as we embark on the final leg of our journey back to Ha Giang.
Don't worry, the adventure in this Vietnam tour package isn't over yet! We'll weave through Duong Thuong Valley and cruise along Thai An Road, soaking up every last bit of nature's beauty before arriving back in Ha Giang for a relaxing afternoon.
The excitement continues as we board a comfortable limousine bus at 4:00 PM, whisking you back to Hanoi and marking the end of our unforgettable adventure!

Time travel: Possible to travel all year around.
Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.
Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:
- Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied)
- Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 12 years: 100% of the regular fare will be applied
During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:
- Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you will stay overnight.
- Vietnam Lunar New Year: 24 January – 27 January: Extra fee will be applied during holiday.
Visa requirements:
For Vietnam: You must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval letter for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam. Our consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.
Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay, and you must have at least one blank page for each visa stamp.
