Itinerary
You will be transferred to Hanoi railway station for a night train to Lao Cai (shared cabin with 4 berths). Meals on your account.
Upon arrival at Lao Cai station, you will be picked up and transferred up to the Hoang Lien Son mountains which hide endless nature spectacles and rich ethnic culture. En route, enjoy the scenic landscape of magnificent valleys and vast rice paddies.
Then, we take a relaxing walk to the local market where people from different ethnic groups in colorful traditional costumes gather and sell local produce from vegetables, and medicinal herbs to beautiful brocade. Don’t miss a chance to buy some lovely gifts for your friends and family back home. You can also take a picture with the sellers but remember to ask their permission.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Back to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner on your account. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Sapa and transfer you to Cat Cat Village. Then, we have to walk down a hill to reach the destination. Next, we make a stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station before trekking on a dirt road through the beautiful terraces of rice paddies. You will also see a beautiful river as we walk along the way to Y Linh Ho village. This is where the Black H’Mong people live. Take a break and enjoy your lunch here.
In the afternoon, we pay a visit to Muong Hoa Valley. Following the popular trekking route, we pass through the Lao Chai village of the Black H’Mong minority and the Tavan village of the Giay community. Tonight, we are staying at a local house in Giay’s village. You can stroll around exploring the village or swim in the river nearby. Dinner is on your account.
Recharge your energy with a full breakfast at the homestay, then we leave for a trek to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority. Enjoy the scenic landscape around as we trek through a bamboo forest in Hoang Lien Son National Park and a beautiful waterfall. Choose a nice place to take a break and have lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue to trek to Su Pan. And then drive to Tram Ton Pass where our trek continues to the Love Waterfall. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way with colorful wildflowers and the Golden Stream. Afterward, back to Tram Ton Pass for a drive to Heaven Gate which provides a spectacular view of the placid surroundings as well as the summit of Indochina - Fansipan mountain.
Drive back to Sapa town. dinner on your account. Overnight stay at the hotel.
This morning is at your leisure. You can do some shopping around the town. In the afternoon, the bus of Asia Links Travel is ready to take you back to Hanoi.

Time travel: Possible to travel all year around. March to June and September to October are best time in Sapa when the weather is warmer and days are mainly sunny.
Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.
Airfares (if any) may change without notice prior to e-ticket issuance.
Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:
- Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied)
- Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 12 years: 100% of the regular fare will be applied
During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:
- Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you will stay overnight.
- Vietnam Lunar New Year: 24 January – 27 January: Extra fee will be applied during holiday.
Visa requirements:
For Vietnam: You must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval letter for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam. Our consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.
Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay, and you must have at least one blank page for each visa stamp.
