Itinerary

Day 1: CU CHI TUNNELS (L)

Upon arriving at the Cu Chi site, dive right into the history with a brief video about the Vietnam War including the pivotal role the Cu Chi tunnels played in the conflict against US Forces.

Next, we explore an exhibition area showcasing the ingenious weapons and traps used by Vietnamese fighters.

Then, our Cu Chi Tunnels Day Tour ventures into the authentic tunnels used by Vietnam soldiers. You can choose from tunnels of varying lengths (20m, 60m, or 100m), but if you have heart problems, Erysipelas, or Claustrophobia, it's best to skip this part.

A part of the tunnels is brought up to make demonstrations for visitors, revealing fascinating insights into daily life underground, including kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and more.

Afterward, recharge your batteries with some local tea and cassava cooked in coconut milk and sesame salt, the same sustenance that fueled Viet Cong fighters during the war.

Following lunch at a nearby restaurant, we will embark on a cultural excursion to a traditional Rice Paper village and get hands-on experience making rice paper, immersing yourself in the authentic traditions of Vietnamese craftsmanship.

Your Cultural Holidays comes to an end. Reserve your spot now and uncover the secrets of the Cu Chi tunnels firsthand with Asia Links Travel!
