Shompoo Cruise 1 Night (Upstream)
Embark on the ship at 7:00 AM today, and enjoy the breakfast on board as we begin the first day of the journey.
After a brief journey upstream, we arrive in Pak Ou Caves. It is the home to over two thousand Buddha images in all shapes and sizes and the ideal pilgrimage for Laos people from all over the country.
Return on board for lunch.
After finishing lunch and rest, we reached the hill tribe village of Baw. Here you can have a taste of the traditional Lao whiskey.
Arrive in Pak Beng at 5:00 PM, leave the ship to check in to your hotel room in Luang Say Lodge.
The dinner is served in the hotel ground by the river.
Enjoy the early breakfast at the hotel as you take in the fresh air and the new sunlight. Return back on board at 8:00 AM for a long day of sailing to reach Huay Xai in the afternoon.
The morning will be spent leisurely on board until lunch.
Finishing lunch, we stop at one of the typical but charming little village by the river. Take the chance to interact with the curios folks and learn about their simple yet hard-working life.
Arrive in Huay Xai in the afternoon at 5:00 PM. Check-out of the cruise for your onward journey.
