Your Myanmar trip starts at your Mandalay hotel in the morning. You will embark on a short journey to Maymyo and visit a British hill station, now known as Pyin Oo Lwin.
This charming town is located on a plateau 1000 meters above sea level, with a delightful climate and rich vegetation.
Many colonial-era features can still be admired in Pyin Oo Lwin, with brick and wood houses adorned with British names and the famous Botanical Gardens located south of the town.
When you travel to Myanmar, a visit to the vibrant local market is a must-do! It includes a variety of colorful items, locally crafted jams, and fruit wines.
Have a break for lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy the traditional cuisine. This is an integral part of the Asia links tour.
