Tour Overview
This 3-day Vietnam trip explores the Mekong Delta, departing from Ho Chi Minh City. It starts with a visit to My Tho, where you'll cruise the Mekong River, explore islands, and experience the local life.
The trip then continues to Can Tho, where you'll visit a historic house, a floating fish farm, and Con Son, an eco-tourism village.
Finally, you'll explore the Cai Rang floating market and a Khmer pagoda to end the cultural holiday before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Itinerary
Our driver and tour guide pick you up from Ho Chi Minh City. Your adventure begins in My Tho, a charming riverside town. First stop: Vinh Trang Pagoda, a 19th-century gem whispering tales of old. Then, hop on a traditional sampan and cruise along the Mekong, weaving between mystical islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.
On Unicorn Island, ditch the boat and explore! Stroll along country lanes, marvel at vibrant orchards, and savor exotic fruits. Local melodies will fill the air as you learn about the island's history and indulge in a visit to a fruit plantation.
For a taste of rural life, navigate the Thoi Son Canal by hand-rowed sampan. Witness local businesses in action, visit a fascinating honeybee farm, and sweeten your day with honey tea and a coconut candy workshop.
After lunch (on your own), the afternoon offers a choice: explore Tan Thach village by bike, meet friendly locals, and soak in the delta's rhythm. Or, relax in a hammock, letting the cool breeze wash over you. The day concludes with a drive to Can Tho, where you'll rest for the night.

Local tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then head to Binh Thuy ancient house, which is a 100-year-old time capsule. Imagine lavish Mandarin life under a roof that blends East and West, just like the movie "L'Amant"!
Next, swap history for a taste of the Delta's aquatic bounty. Cruise to a floating fish farm, teeming with colorful characters. Get a "fish massage" and snap envy-inducing pics with this unique experience!
But Can Tho offer more than just the mainstream? Prepare to be whisked away to Con Son Islet, a hidden gem. Breathe in the fresh air, and lose yourself amidst fruit orchards and charming floating houses.
Here, the locals will unveil their secrets: savor their delectable southern cakes and learn to make them yourself! Witness a spectacle unique to this region - a thrilling "flying snake-head fish" performance by a local family.
Refresh and return to Can Tho city center with a newfound appreciation for this vibrant Mekong Delta gem.

Have breakfast at the hotel. Join us for a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque Lower Mekong River (Bassac River). Next is the highlight of the tour: Cai Rang floating market - the liveliest one in the whole region.
Walking trip to visit a local noodle factory. Our last stop to finish the day is Munir Ansay Pagoda - a Khmer pagoda, popular for the unique structure.
Then back to Ho Chi Minh City. Ends of tour services.

Time travel: Possible to travel all year around.
Rooms are available from 14.00 on arrival day until 12.00 on departure day, room supplement charge will be added for request of early/late check in/out.
Price for infants and children will be quoted as follow:
- Children under 2 years old: Free of charge (Maximum 1 child under 2 years old travels with 2 adults; from the second child, 50% of the regular fare will be applied)
- Children from 2 to 5 years old: 50% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 5 to 11 years old: 75% of the regular fare will be applied
- Children from 12 years: 100% of the regular fare will be applied
During Peak Season and special occasions, surcharges may be added to the price:
- Christmas and New Year’s Eve: Compulsory meals would be added during these times of the years, depends on hotels or resorts you will stay overnight.
- Vietnam Lunar New Year: 24 January – 27 January: Extra fee will be applied during holiday.
Visa requirements:
For Vietnam: You must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval letter for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam. Our consultant will be happy to advise you on visa requirements.
Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay, and you must have at least one blank page for each visa stamp.
