Your journey begins with a pick-up by an Asia Links Travel guide at your hotel at 8 o'clock. We'll whisk you away to Lamine, a picturesque Danu village just 45 minutes away.
Brace yourself for a leisurely stroll along Lamine, where the path meanders downhill (100 m) amidst lush rice fields for a mesmerizing short tour.
Prepare to be captivated as you cross a charming small stream and embark on an uphill ascent (about 200 m) for another thrilling half an hour.
The reward? Breathtaking panoramic views from the summit and a delightful one-hour journey along the ridge towards Pawke, a quaint Pao village nestled 6 km away from Lamine.
Immerse yourself in the charm of Pawke, where the locals thrive on cultivating rice, chili, sesame, and potatoes - their main sources of income. But this is only the first highlight of this Myanmar tour!
As the day unfolds, we'll continue our trek to Konehla, another Danu village, just 3 km away. Let the rolling hills guide your steps as you walk through this scenic landscape for an hour.
A well-deserved lunch break awaits you at a cozy family house in Konehla, providing an authentic taste of local flavors.
With renewed energy, we'll embark on a 3-hour trek along a narrow path to Pattupauk, covering a distance of 7 km.
Prepare to be enchanted as you find yourself surrounded by vast rice fields and towering pine trees on both sides, creating a truly magical ambiance.
Upon arrival in Pattupauk, take a moment to rest and explore the village, gaining invaluable insights into the art of bamboo basket making, skillfully practiced by the locals.
As twilight descends, savor a delicious dinner at a welcoming local family house, where you'll also spend the night, please take in the warmth and hospitality of the local families.
Note: On day 1, the trek is about 16 km and 300 m and last for 6 hours.
Departure from Pattu to Inle will take place at 7 o'clock in the morning. The journey will initially be on flat land for half an hour, followed by a one-hour downhill trek along the hillside, about 300 meters.
From there, you will hike uphill to Nanyoke, which is approximately 200 meters away and will take around 45 minutes. Nanyoke is another Pao village where a coffee break will be offered.
Afterward, you will enjoy a leisurely stroll of one hour, covering a distance of 3 kilometers, while admiring the view of old banyan trees along the route.
As the path becomes rockier, you will start catching glimpses of the lake.
The next stop is a small jungle, located 3 kilometers away and 200 meters downhill. The walk will last for one hour, granting you the opportunity to savor the scenic beauty of Inle Lake.
To conclude the trek, a 30-minute walk through a bamboo forest covering 2 kilometers will bring you to Tone Le', where lunch will be served.
The bamboo forest houses a cozy restaurant, making it an ideal spot to rest after a long hike.
After lunch, you can choose between taking a boat directly to the hotel or visiting Nyaung Shwe, a town situated on the northeastern shore of the lake.
If you opt for the latter, the visit will last approximately one hour, and you will arrive at the hotel between 3 and 4 p.m.
Note: On the second day, you will cover a total distance of 15 kilometers for about 5 hours.
