Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival – Welcome Dinner with Traditional Dance (D)

Activities: Flight to Siem Reap, hotel check-in, stroll around accommodation place, explore Old Market, have a warm dinner, and watch Khmer dance.

When landing in Siem Reap - the most economical region of present Cambodia, you will have warm greetings from the guide from Asia Links Travel then move to your accommodation.

Siem Reap is the ideal attraction for the Cambodia Tour. Here, tourists will have a chance to discover the sacred temples of Angkor, the old capital of the Khmer Empire.

More than 100 temples are located over a large area and the location is recognized as one of the seven wonders of the Forgotten World.

Let's stroll around the hotel and then pay a visit to the “Old Market"- a local market in the city of Siem Reap in Northern Cambodia.

The market is famous with tourists in the city for interesting souvenirs. You can find many products here such as T-shirts, silverware, silk, wood and stone carvings, Buddhas, and other items.

It is also popular for its diversity of traditional street cuisine.

Be ready for a happy dinner with tasty food. Then contemplate traditional performances of Khmer dance.

Day 2: Ta Prom with Tuk-Tuk – Angkor Wat – Tonle Sap Lake and Floating Village (B)

Activities: Discover Ta Prohm by tuk-tuk, explore Angkor Wat, and have a boat trip to see floating villages in Tonle Sap Lake.

Today, you will have a Cambodia Sightseeing Trip to capture the significant Angkor Temples. In the early morning, get on a tuk-tuk to Ta Prohm - southwest of East Mebon and east of Angkor Thom.

Ta Prohm is one of the biggest architecture in the Angkor Complex. The complex had 260 god statues, 39 towers with pinnacles, and 566 groups of residences.

The trees that grow out of the ruined monuments seem to be the signature feature of Ta Prohm.

Keep on our journey by trip to Angkor Wat - a pagoda complex in this nation and the most enormous religious area in the world.

Constructed in the first half of the 12th century, Angkor Wat is the best protected - an architectural pride of Cambodia Tourism.

Excellence in composition, balance, size, relief, and sculpture helped it become one of the most magnificent monuments on the planet.

Day 3: Angkor Thom – Bayon – Terrace of Elephant - Banteay Srei (B)

Activities: Admire historical sites such as Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, Banteay Srei, and Preah Khan.

Today, you will have the opportunity to discover another well-known ancient capital city: Angkor Thom. Located on an area of 9 square kilometers, Angkor Thom was built by King Jayavarman VII nearly 100 years after Angkor Wat.

It is considered by many international tourists to be as mysteriously attractive as Angkor Wat.

Next, continue our Cambodia Tour to Bayon Temple. Built in the 12th century, Bayon Temple is the magnificent central temple of the ancient town of Angkor Thom.

Don’t forget to capture the Terrace of Elephants over 300 meters through the heart of Angkor Thom. It is a signature, two-and-a-half-meter tall, 300-meter-long terrace wall decorated with carved elephants and garudas spanning the front of Baphuon.

Wander around to the terrace of the Leper King double terrace wall at the north of the Terrace of the Elephants.

Then, take a trip to explore Banteay Srei - a beautiful 10th-century Hindu temple complex, that reaches 23 miles north of Angkor Wat and Preah Khan - one of the most historical temples of Angkor.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to town.

Day 4: Cooking Class in Siem Reap – Flight to Yangon (B, L)

Activities: Stroll around the village, get an insight into Cambodian vegetables, take part in a cooking class, then leave Siem Reap, have a flight to Yangon

Gear up for a pretty chance to broaden your knowledge about traditional Khmer food in a funny cooking class. You will start with a walk to the village.

There will be an introduction to Cambodian vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients for making local cuisine.

Then, back to the classroom to show off your cooking ability. After eating your delicious food, you will be transferred to the hotel for checkout. Enjoy the remainder of your Cambodia Trip.

In the afternoon, you will be driven to the airport for a flight to Yangon - the previous capital of Myanmar.

When arriving at the airport, you will have a meeting with our tour guide and then move to the hotel for the check-in process.

Day 5: Yangon – Flight to Bagan (B)

Activities: Have a flight to Bagan, see Nyang U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda temple, and nearby temples, pay a visit to a local lacquerware workshop, and admire the beautiful sunset at the peak of the Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Get up early today to take a flight to the World Heritage Site - Bagan. This is a beautiful land with thousands of wonderful temples spread across the plains.

This has created one of the favorite archaeological research and historical exploration sites by tourists in Myanmar exploration.

Let's hop on a Bagan Tour with a visit to Nyang U Market in Old Bagan where you can admire the crowded atmosphere of the locals when they trade fresh goods.

Take steps to the significant Shwezigon Pagoda. As one of the most spectacular sacred architecture in Myanmar - the golden Shwezigon Paya in Bagan inspired a lot of later stupas constructed in the country and played an important engagement in the relationship between traditional Burmese religion and Theravada Buddhism.

Continue your Burma Sightseeing Trip to Ananda Temple - one of the four important temples remaining in Bagan. Ananda Temple is recognized as one of the most remaining masterpieces of Mon architecture.

On the way, take a rest to contemplate some of the attractive nearby temples.

Get ready for an afternoon tour with an experience at a local lacquer workshop, where you'll have the opportunity to get an insight into the traditional techniques of the craftsmen and see the stunning and unique products.

End your Myanmar Trip in Bagan by driving to Shwesandaw Pagoda to admire the beautiful sunset in the surrounding area.

Day 6: Bagan Free Day (B)

Activities: Spare time for relaxing in Bagan

Today is your spare day. You can experience hot air balloon riding in Bagan. Admiring the sparkling city scenery from above will definitely be a very memorable memory during your trip to Burma.

In addition, if you are an exercise lover, don't hesitate to rent a bicycle to ride around the peaceful rice fields of the village.

Day 7: Bagan – Flight to Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagaing (B)

Activities: Move to Mandalay, discover Mahagandaryone Monastery, wander around U Bein Bridge, explore Kyautawgyi Pagoda, have a boat trip on Taungthaman Lake, transfer to Sagaing Hill, get to the top for stunning views, admire Son U Pon Nya Shin Pagoda.

Today, we will have a flight from Bagan to Mandalay - which has a long history and special Burmese traditions. Begin with a Mandalay Trip to Mahagandayon Monastery - home to a thousand monks.

Then see the monks in their normal activities as the afternoon meal and rice ceremony.

Then, take steps to the impressive U Bein Bridge - a beautiful 1.2-kilometer structure constructed from teak planks and reported to be the longest of its type on Earth.

Spend time visiting the Kyautawgyi pagoda which is famous for its huge Buddha image made from a single piece of white marble.

On route back to Mandalay, take a Burma cruise trip across Taungthaman Lake to capture the tranquil scenery of this charming lake. It is one of the most impressive areas in Amarapura.

After lunch, continue your Indochina Tour in Myanmar by a drive to Sagaing Hill to gain knowledge of the multiple Buddhist education systems for monks and nuns and discover the nearby university.

Get to the top of the hill to watch the Buddha caves and images. The last stop of the Myanmar Tour today is Son U Pon Nya Shin Pagoda.

Day 8: Mandalay – Transfer to Mingun – Mandalay Hill (B)

Activities: Move to Mingun, discover Mingun Pagoda, Mingun Bell, Mandalay Palace, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, and admire the sunset at the hilltop of Mandalay

Are you excited to embark on a private boat along to Mingun - which is popular for its charming ruins? Start your Burma One Tour today with a visit to the huge brick Mingun Pagoda - an unfinished pagoda that was built at the end of the 18th century, and was the biggest pagoda in the land.

Move to Mingun Bell. The bell is located near Paya in Zayat, an elaborate Burmese-style pavilion with a multi-tiered roof. The nearly 4-meter-high bell is the largest working bell in the world at present.

In the afternoon, back to Mandalay then enjoy your own lunch at a good restaurant near the river.

Then, explore Mandalay Palace - the first palace built in Mandalay by King Mindon when he moved the capital from Amarapura in 1861, in accordance with an ancient prophecy.

Continue your Mandalay Trip to Kuthodaw Pagoda, where there is a gilded pagoda, with hundreds of temples with carved marble slabs and several pavilions.

The pagoda is also known as the "world's largest book", named after the 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist teachings. End your day with a romantic sunset view atop Mandalay Hill.

Day 9: Mandalay – Inle Lake (B)

Activities: Flight to Heho, stroll Nyaung Shwe Market, get on a boat trip, back to the hotel, and see the lake.

On day 9 of our Burma Vacation, we will leave Mandalay to catch a flight to Heho. After reaching this site, you will be taken to visit Nyaung Shwe traditional market - the gateway to Inle Lake.

Inle Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Myanmar and is surrounded by floating villages, gardens, various nearby tribes, and fishermen rowing boats on foot.

Let’s get on a Myanmar scenic boat trip to the hotel comes through villages with unique wood houses and floating gardens surrounded by water hyacinths and attached to the lake bottom with bamboo poles.

Spend the rest of the day exploring one of Southeast Asia's most beautiful lakes, the living place of the Intha ethnic people, and learn their exceptional boating skills.

Day 10: Inle Lake – Indein Pagoda & Floating Gardens (B)

Activities: Boat trip to Indein Temples, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Ngaphechaung Monastery, cotton and lotus weaving factory, cigar-creating houses.

In the morning, get on board to visit the stunning temple of Indein. Pay a visit to the hidden charm of this historical spot.

Next, proceed with the Myanmar Escort Tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda - the most honored monastery in the Inle Lake area.

It owns five ancient images of the Buddha that are totally covered in gold leaf. Have a look at Ngaphechaung Monastery - an impressive wooden monastery constructed on stilts over the lake in the middle of the 19th century.

This building is also famous for a set of old Myanmar Buddha images from other places that are invaluable.

Day 11: Inle Lake – Yangon - City Tour (B, D)

After a tasty breakfast, take your time on a boat and then car to the airport for a flight to Yangon. Start the Yangon Trip to Shwedagon Pagoda - the most sacred Buddhist Temple in Burma.

The Shwedagon Pagoda is a prominent cone-shaped Buddhist monument with a height of 99 meters.

When discovering the pagoda, reach the top point, then capture astonishing views of the golden stupa at a wonderful sunset.

Enjoy your dinner of royal Burmese delicacies at Karaweik Palace.

Day 12: Yangon City Tour – Departure (B)

Activities: Pay a visit to Sule Pagoda, Chaukhtayi Pagoda, and Kandawgyi Lake, and go to the airport for the departure flight.

Your Yangon City Tour will capture the highlights of Yangon including the Sule Pagoda - an attractive destination that is nearly 2,000 years old; Chaukhtayi Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake which was built in the colonial period, and embraced by a green park.

If time permits, take time to buy some souvenirs at Scott Market.

Finally, you will be driven to the airport for your departure flight.
