Itinerary
You will be greeted by Asia Links Travel at the hotel, with bikes waiting outside. After the trip instruction and bike preparation, the Full Day Bagan Countryside Biking Tour will start.
The first thing to do on this active trip is to have a quick warm-up with a 2-kilometer ride on the sealed roads and then head Westwards into the countryside.
The morning ride will guide tourists to visit the local villages such as Nwar Kyo, Kan Poat, and Tuwin Taung.
In the next stop of your Myanmar Tour, besides the marvelous views of rice fields, toddy palms, and faraway temple spires, you will also have the chance to see special colonial-style old trees and monasteries, for example, the shady tamarind tree in Let Wel village.
Around the middle of the day, you will have reached the bottom of the hills and biked along them, which boast nice views of Shwe Pon Taung Pagoda and Bu Kin Pagoda.
Throughout this short tour, you will stop for a lunch break in a shady spot to get immersed in rural tranquility. There will also be other stops for drinks and photo-taking.
Visitors will be back at the hotel at about 04.00 pm.
Distance: over 25–35 kilometers (distance changes based on how many villages you visited; 90% dirt/sand track, 10% sealed road).
