VIETNAM TOURISM INTERNATIONAL MART 2019 & RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL
Vietnam Tourism International Mart (VITM) is an annual event organized by Vietnam Tourism Association in order to showcase the country’s richness of culture, traditions and natural beauty as well as create an opportunity for travel businesses and agencies in and out Vietnam to introduce their products.
This year, the expo will take place in March 27th – 30th at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition located at 91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District. It is estimated to welcome 85,000 visitors with more than 500 registered booths of travel management agencies from 25 countries and territories. 32,000 tour packages and 20,000 air tickets with special discounts will go on sale at the mart. Therefore, this is a great chance for both foreigners and locals to get the best deals for their Vietnam tours.
Although Vietnam has received a great number of foreign travelers in the recent years as it is continually listed in the top destinations to visit by well – known magazines for budget - friendly vacations, endless natural spectacles and hospitable people, the sustainable growth and natural resource exploitation have not been paid much attention.
Thus, “Green Tourism” has been chosen to be the theme of the Vietnam Tourism International Mart 2019 to respond to the world’s goal in 2030 of sustainable development. Eco – tourism, environmental protection and climate change’s topics will also be discussed. Furthermore, many interesting activities and performances carrying the great value of Vietnamese culture will take place during the event.
