1. Introduction Of Diff 2019 Da Nang, Vietnam
The festival takes place in a month from 1st June to 6th July 2019 with the main theme "Stories of Rivers" including five nights of competition with five different topics: Origin, Sprouts of Life, Love, Colours, and Offshore. There are eight teams from different countries: Vietnam, China, Russia, Italy, Belgium, Finland, United Kingdom, and Brazil coming and joining this competition.
The official dates of fireworks competitions among teams begin on 1st June 2019. The performances start at 8:00 PM every Saturday during the festival. The schedules for competitions are:
- June 1: Vietnam vs Russia
- June 8: Brazil vs Belgium
- June 15: Finland vs Italy
- June 22: United Kingdom vs China
- July 6: The final show between the two best teams
- The festival is staged over the iconic Han River which is a perfect spot for everyone to watch fireworks from different parts of the city.
Apart from fireworks performances, there are also many supporting cultural, sports and travel activities held during and after the competition as well which make Da Nang's tourism develop and attract domestic as well as foreign tourists. Some activities are a flashmob dance competition with the theme "Youth wave", and street music shows on Sunday nights from May 26 to July 7 on Bach Dang Road with impressive performances by domestic and foreign artists.
